Kristopher Murphy, Secretary

Kristopher Murphy represents the Coquille Indian Tribe’s Natural Resource Department. Growing up in the tribe taught him about having respect and honor for nature and tradition. After completing an ecological engineering degree at OSU in 2017, Kristopher jumped on the opportunity to work for his tribe as a way of returning the valuable lessons and assistance they have given him. As a biological technician, he finds great joy and pride in assisting with projects dealing with the natural resources the tribe stewards. Kristopher joined the CoosWA board in 2019 as a way to further help restore, mitigate, support, and learn about our watershed and its health.
