Jamie Doyle
Jamie Doyle has been a Sea Grant Extension agent with Oregon State University based on the South Coast in Coos Bay since 2009. Jamie works on projects that connect all Oregonians to the coast to improve their understanding of the biology and ecology of the marine environment, the culture of coastal communities, and Oregon’s fisheries. Recent projects include research on frozen seafood, commercial fisheries education and outreach, and planning the annual State of the Coast conference. She has partnered with CoosWA over the years, from the Master Watershed Stewards youth program to the Mayfly Festival, and she strongly believes in the CoosWA mission. When not working, she likes to hike, swim, read, cook, hunt for mushrooms, and attempt to grow tomatoes.
